Striking Gold and Black Sambar Antlers

These striking goldleaf Sambar antlers are the perfect non traditional taxidermy to accent with elegance!  This deer inhabits much of southern Asia and has been introduced to Australia. Hand applied guilt finish has been carefully laid over red ground on the sculptural antler. Thus you see in this old world technique, the subtle hint of red showing through the leaf.  The Euro skull has been painted a satin lampblack to accent the antlers and make a wonderful contrast on any wall in any room.  Very statement piece.

These antlers  measure approximately 29″ tall X 25″ wide.
